Thanks. I only found a couple and being unfamilier with the Arc, I wanted to hear it from the AUTHORITIES!:)

If you bought one that looked like new, would you use it or stash it?

Personally, I'd use it. LED technology has already moved on. In a few years, the Arc AAA output will seem paltry by comparison to newer lights. The light will have sentimental value only to collectors. If the light were NIB and in pristine condition, it might hold fairly high value. Most others will sink in value, JMHO. Right after Arc went under, the lights were going for more than $90 on eBay; the prices have fallen since then.

I say put it on Ebay.
you're still going to at least get what you paid for it.
they retailed for $25 and many retailers sold them at $21 at least that was what I paid.
I've seen some crazy prices for the aaa turquoise on ebay, I wonder did the people know they're getting the turquoise and not the white led.
I'm using aaa lithiums on my arc's now, and it's really bright.

I think it will always retain some value due to the relative scarcity of the orange ones produced, but probably rarely will you find anyone willing to pay more than $40-$60 for it.
