new headlamp series from Primus

Just saw this from the folks at backpacking.net. Primus has an interesting series of headlamps utilizing multiple LEDs, multiple color LEDs, and Luxeons:

REI has two of the Primus headlamps listed. The PrimeLite Adventure LED Headlamp and the PrimeLite Adventure Remote LED Headlamp.

They look interesting. If I understand correctly, the red LED also works as a low battery indicator.

The PrimeLite T looks to be exactly what I am looking for!

I have been looking at the black diamond moonlight and Zenix, this seems to me both in one !

Does anyone know if the heads on these tilt?
What kinda runtime you can get on max?
Or what the cycling is like through the modes?

I've got a few pieces of Primus gear, all top notch. I'd expect nothing less from their headlamps. .

Any Idea where the best place to get the Primelite T is?
Its basically just like the new ones, except is have all white 5mm leds, I dont care for colored leds, so I was thinking of getting it.

jtice- everyone loves your picture in the CPF calendar.

You could get the headlamp from REI. They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. I searched my other backpacking sites and they do not carry it yet. Even e-headlamps.com did not have it.

The one on REI is the newst 2,,, they are the same, except they have 2 red leds and 4 white ones, and the other has a remote (man thats useless LOL ) ,,, the Primelite T (the one I want) has all its 5mm leds in white. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Was playing with the PrimeLite at REI yesterday, at it's pretty cool. As I recall, the light switching cycles up from red to white LED's then the Luxeon.

what was the Luxeon beam like? Flood, spot, etc.
How was the brightness levels?
Seem to be worth the $$$?
