single red LED into a dual filament

hello all. This is my first time here and this question has been bugging me for quite sometime now. I believe this is the right place for this.

I have a 6 LED (already wired) for the car. There are 2 wires that goes out... one positive and one negative. You can just wire it to any 12 volt such as your brake light and it will work.

Now, is there a way I can somewhat hook it to my parking lights to where it lights up to half of it's potential power (dim) and to the brake light so when I hit the brake, it will give it's full power (bright)

http://home.attbi.com/~hyc_sub1/signal/ for this kind of project. If your 6 LED string has a resistor attached to limit current, you'll need to remove it if you want to have high brightness for the brake light.

I assume you hsve a 5/21W dual filament bulb in your tail light?
