I think the final retail will be $225 with the blue LED's available first and then the red and green. Not sure of the order on the red and green.

I was told LED Color but I'll ask again to clarify when she returns my call. If that is the case then I just ordered a bunch of green cased A2's.

Wasn't it supposed to come out in 2 weeks, 2 weeks ago? In 2 weeks, it'll be out in 2 weeks...

Oh Yeah, that's another thing -- there was mention of different colors, but the gal at the order desk said those were CASE COLORS???!!!

I am glad Bill is chiming in here, because I don't think she knew what she was talking about. It was probably the beam colors that she got confused with. After all, how many colored LEDs (or incandescents for that matter) has SureFire ever offered, whereas they Have come out with different case colors...

I guess there isn't a chance these will come with both the 60 lumen HOLA and 25 lumen LOLA.

2 weeks...2 weeks! It's always 2 weeks!

Let me get this straight:

Basicly, the A2 is one light that has:

-Is regulated
-The output of an E2 on the incandecent
-3 Nichia 5 mm LED's
- The option by clicking to use one or the other light source.

Did I miss anything?

And is going to cost somewhere between 130 and 225?

If it were 20-40 dollars more than an e2e, it would be a nice light, but it seems a little expensive to me.

Update -- I was told today that the A2s (at least the ones we'll get in Hawaii) are all HA, in the OD-ish case color. It's the LEDs that will be available in different colors. Retail in the low $200's, updated wholesale cost in the mid- to higher-$100's...
