Maybe you should ask the sender directly what offended him/her. Maybe you can patch things up and earn a friend.

Generally it's bad form to bring up private communications on a public board, even if they are about the board. try to hash them out privately via email or whatever. We're not going to police you guys unless you become actually threatening or break other rules of CPF. Work it out.

I'd do some soul searching to make sure that the fellow isn't partially right about anything /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif (I have no idea what prompted this and I'm not suggesting that he might be, just that a little soul searching is a good thing) and then personally, I'd just tell him to put me on his ignore list. If it makes him happy, it certainly doesn't hurt you any.

But please do not post your private correspondence with him on the board.
