Was just checking out the new Honda truck (photo 33 in the gallery)admiring the "lighted" console. I just wonder if Inovas come as standard equipment?? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

A lot of cool features on that truck that I wouldn't mind having on mine. Trunk/cooler in the bed, and swinging tailgate is sweet!

The Inova is in one of the slots on the top of the console between the front seats. The M*g is in the bucket of orange cable. Only the M*g's head is visible.

Hell I missed the M*g in the extension cord bucket. Yes , this is Hondas first attempt at a SUT (sport utility truck), kinda looks like an Avalanche without all the cladding. The trucks will start around 27,700 MSRP . The Honda has many specs comparable to other trucks in it's class. Lots of innovative features (the trunk)in a truck, thanks to the wizards of Honda engineering. Look at picture 30 in the gallery. They also are utilizing white LEDs in the dash lighting too. I might have to trade the wife's Accord in on it! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Trunk in a pickup - what is this, a dream come true? About time too, ever left a laptop on a passenger seat... not like I have, I just like to read about the folks in the local papers who do that and find themselves looking for a replacement laptop in the near future. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hahaha.gif

Never mind about the Inova, is there enough space for my Surefire C2 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

None of us can get it yet. Not till 2006 I suppose. That trunk idea is pretty inovative. I also think it looks a might bit like the Avalanch. I would think thought that the tailgate is easy to steal since it has double hinges, wouldnt you think? I would hope they have a somewhat decent locking mechanism enacted when you take it down or open it the other way.

If I remember correctly, there were 2 or 3 commercials during the Super Bowl that had this truck in it. Climbing over hills and rocks and other stuff.

Yes i remember a similar truck. I liked the commercial, very professional. ( I really enjoyed the diet coke comercial)

I own an Avalanche, and I am considering one of tese Hondas. My dealer says they could be out as soon as next month.
