raggie, my pics have all been done with a Canon SD300 Digital Elph. 4.0 megapixels and 3x optical zoom. GREAT pocket size (only about 3/4" thick with a big 2" display window). Here's a sample:

Here's one I got the other night. I was wondering where all the bird seed I put on the deck railing was going. When I shot this I was close enough to touch the little fellow. Camera was a Sony DSC-V1 I found for a clearance price before Christmas.

Nah, All you need is patience and a lot of practice and pretty soon you'll be taking good pics as well. Good thing with the digicam is that you can practice all you want and erase the crappy ones you don't like. Just keep on playing with the aperture/settings of the same subject and look and analyze the diffrences and see what works and what doesn't.

Water flowing over the dam at a local park (1600x1200, ~600KB), taken with my Fuji FinePix A210.

All the photos in my reviews were taken with this camera. I typically shoot at 1600x1200 then downsample to 800x600 for the primary images.

It's difficult to take picture from a moving vehicle. I've tried numerous times, and some 90% of them are useless - which is too bad because there have been some amazing sunsets that I've tried to photograph on the way home, but didn't have the time to stop (or couldn't stop in the middle of a freeway).

Re: post a pic you took and say cam it was took wi

Well, I've taken a lot more pictures of guns than flashlights... These were taken with a 2.1MP Kodak DX3600 I got for about $110 well over two years ago. VERY good deal at the time.

Second pic is definately uninspired (I was actually selling the gun that day) but it came out nice and super clear.

Someone told me the bottom pic looked sexual. Not sure if that was because of the wet deck or the phallic barrel. Either way, it kinda creeped me out.
