Do the A2\'s LEDs tend toward blue?

I've been interested in the A2 for quite a while and finally got to test one out. The first thing I noticed was that the LEDs had a blue tint. Is this typical of the A2 or might the next one have a whiter light? Thanks.

They definitely have a blue tint, just like Arcs or any light that used 5mm LED's. Regardless, fanatastic light, the best light I own. I got lucky and can switch LED's from red to white, and both are very usable.

I received mine 3 weeks ago and yes, they do have a blue tint. i´ve read here that nichias do have a blue tint. Unlike my other led: opalec new beam, which is similiar in light and is very white. One gets used to it.

3 A2's here, everyone a bit blue. Doesn't seem to hurt anything though. I've never looked at something and wished the light was whiter. Don't notice it until I compare it to a really nice white LED. Of course the regulated incan is nice and white.
