Hey guys,

I had a request for stripped 6Ps. The finish under the anodizing wasn't bad. I went for more of a mattish finish rather than something bright.

Just sharing.

Those are beautiful, almost makes me want to rush out and get another 6P, just that the P60 lamp doesn't meet my spec for "life begins at 100 lumens" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

It was an experimental procedure including a lye bath, a four hour tumble in corn cob and aluminum oxide, and a quick spin in the lathe for the application of metal polish.

Just got it. Wow, it's WAY nicer in person. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif Very nice work, Tony. Now, how come more manufacturers don't offer up bare AL as a standard option? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thinking.gif I just love bare AL lights. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
