Hi,

I read recently in the manual for my L2 that the threads and o-rings should be lubricated. I know that the o-rings should be lubricated but I have never heard that the threads must also be. Can I use just any silicon based lubricant on he threads of my surefire flashlights? or must it be electrically conductive? Also, how much should I apply?

Cheers

Also, what's the difference between the conductive Nyogel and the non-conductive? can the conductive be used on threads and o-rings or is one for threads and the other for o-rings?

thanks again

I dont think it really matters whether it;s conductive or non-conductive, since the oring is not part of the circut. I just use a silicon based lube. How much? Just try not to drown it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif
