Automotive bulb housings for LED conversions??????

Can someone please tell me where I can just the the plastic housing that I can put LED's into to enables them to replace factory incondesent bulbs??

I just need that plastic housing and can't seem to find it. I am looking for ANY and ALL housings if possible. I should be able to get these somewhere. Thanks a lot everyone for the help. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

12V input for a luxeon without enough space for a DB converter and heat sinking? I don't think so.

I think he just wants to put his own 5mm leds in there. Not nessasarly luxeon.

Are these for dash lighting? I'd like to make my Chevy have lime-green ferrari style /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

If there is enough room to fit an appropriate resistor, it may be a shot to try.

have you tried buying bulbs and breaking the bulb pulling out the guts and putting in LEDs?
