Also...how bright is the MagmaLED compared to other single LED lights? Thanx in advance...

No, I don't think it is a luxeon star. It is some other type of led that does put the light in all direction like an ordinary bulb. So it really behave like the bulb it replaced in the minim@g. The difference is that the light it produces is a pleasant white rather the yellowish light from the other bulb.

PJD, it is a White Nichia LED that has been shaped, plus cicuitry. It allows use of the minimag (yes I will write the name) reflector for focusing. It cannot be used with Lithium AAs (extreme overheat of LED).
