3 AAA - C ?

I am waiting for my first 3AA-D battery adapters to arrive. In the meantime, I was wondering if anybody had created a similar adapter to put AAA batteries in a C-sized light? It seems you could duplicate any of the MagD mods with MagC flashlights in that case.

They are widely available already. Get any cheap Chinese made multi-LED lights and they have one inside.

Don't have a C-cell handy for comparison. This holder is a bit slimmer than the actual C cell by about 2mm, longer by 4mm. The spring can be trimmed to make the height shorter. It goes into my M@g C easily.

seems hardly worth while. not much energy available from AAA alk cell.

when you can stick 2x 18500 li-ion w/protection in the same space.

I like to use readily available (translation: I can get them at the grocery store if I have to) batteries when I can.

CY, i think you can fit only one 18500 in the place of 3 AAA... anyway is much more capacity... 1400mah instead of 900
