I've had mine for 6 months now and it's pretty neat. Though I think AA are better that AAA at driving a Luxeon.

i got me these thing for 15$ each, and used them as gifts
put lithium non-rechargables in them (because of gifts) luckily lithium AAAs had gone down to 7$ a 4 pack at target.

they had some issues, but for the price i was very satasfied.
it uses a long throw reflector , i prefer them luxeon optics.
cheap plastic 3AAA round holders, i had to alter the TAB points on them, because tabs on lithiums are shorter, so i had to put a bit of solder on the tab points.

the machining of the end cap was unfinished so to speak, it did not fit rock solid, and the macheing was not cleaned up.
i put parafin on the threads, and that made them Much nicer.

it was a screw type switch, i hate that, with a momentary button on the back. you crank down the tail cap to get constant light.

the setting of the emitter and sinking on the frame of the light was well done, to transfer the heat to the whole body.

so if your looking for Junk ones like the above, these are 1/2 the price.
looks like they fixed the switch in this model

I've gotten close to 2.8hrs using NiMhy cells rated 800maHrs. Not to shabby, I'd say.
