Last night I had to fix the antenna up at the roof top. Before climbing 30 feet up, I did a "Spot" check with KL1 + FB1 and L5. It was quite suprising to me that although the total output of L5 far exceed the KL1, the hot spot of KL1 is somewhat brighter. The tint of my L5 is little bit yellow and KL1 is little bit towards blue. With the KL1 I could see the antenna clearly and found the cause of poor signal, but I could only guess when using L5. Maybe I should mount them together 
I love both lights, but I think the KL1 might not be the throw king; but for the $ I paid, I've got something much more than my expectation.
