Magglight C/D cell switch assembly resistance?

I have put together a few c and d cell multistar mods lately.
Wanna know what happened to 3 SX1J stars in a 3D with nimh batteries hot off the charger? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/str.gif
Not a lot actually, at a low 1.75 amp draw. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
I was hoping to put these luminescant booger luxeon3's out of thier misery in this thing. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin07.gif

What are some good ways to improve electrical flow through a magg switch assembly?

a little more spring pressure on the switch contacts will do wonders /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinser2.gif

Mag85's could really get interesting with less resistance in the switch assembly too, right?

Add 50-200+ lumens there. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/popcorn.gif
