Hey, This forum has been a new discovery for me, I cant belive I can find this stuff on the internet. What a great forum.

I have a Few Mag Lites. I have been wanting to turn them into LED powered lamps for as long as i can remember.

But I seek your help on one of them.
Its a 2AA Mini MAG.

Im looking for As much light as I can get.
with a Narow beem. 20 degrees is fine!
Id radther have a white light, with a slightly higher "blue"ish out put.

Im willing to use any batteries as long as they fit the housing, and as many LEDS that would make for an effecient setup.

manybe 3 leds with 2 12 volt cells??
basically im asking for help on How would I mod the Maglight, and what cells and LEDs should i use.

Have any of you completed a Mod on a 2AA mag.

Thanks guys. Best regards,
Johnny B

or should i just run the LED from the 2 cells inside, 3volts What Led. ??

Hi Johnny and welcome, try posting this in the LED area. I think you may get more responces. The folks on this side mostly want brighter than hell lights like the Surfire stuff.

Check out the 'search' feature at the top of the page. Perform the search on "mini mag led" in the "LED Electroluminescent and Laser" forum, and you will get a bunch of threads to read through. One member has 7 white LEDs running off of 3 "N" cells.

Hope this helps!
