i buy tons of these. for the price, they are awesome.

I suggest redoing some soldering (crooked emitters)and adding thermalpaste.

BTW theyre are ones that use "US made" batwings, but...they dont say lumileds on them (I have one). I looks to be a clone still tho. I have to remove the batwing and see if they have the bin codes or are just blank.
you get what you pay for. still a great deal.

That's why I posted here to see what kind of feedback if someone had bought any.

We've had a few threads on these lights and the general opinion seems to be that they... work. But that's about it hehe.

If you change the Luxeon clone with genuine Luxeon 3W Vf-K, it works. But I have to say the reflector is bummer.

And difficult to place Luxeon emitter on the exat center.

They work- but not for long. I gave my last one away for free to someone I don't even care for... maybe it will eat their batteries... hehe. Good ridence. Only crudier light I got is a M*G Solitare. That puppy puts out as much light a a wet match. But at least is KEEPS working so it gets rating of 1 on the 1 to 10 scale.....

Looks like good mod fodder for $18.

That's 18 USD too much. You'd better pay a few dollars more for a real Lumileds Luxeon equiped flashlight.

Purchased 5 in various configurations. 1 is junk. 4 are exceptionally good. Better color spectrum than my nuwai Q-3. Lottery at best it would seem from others comments!

I got a near perfect one. The runtime
stated at 5 hrs. is pretty accurate also.
After 5 hours of intemittent use mine was
still as bright as an Infinity Ultra.
At $18.00 even if it is not perfect an
led switch will give you a nice light for
under $30.00.

just curious what you mean by LED SWITCH in the above statement. Are we talking modding a kroll switch, or is there a switch designed for these lights.

I suspect he means switching the Luxeon Star clone in the light to an actual Luxeon.
