I just saw Brian Williams on the Ellen show. He said that he EDC's a flashlight. They showed a pic of him in Iraq (I believe) where they had no lights for his news report, so he lit his face with his EDC light. He mentioned that he was a member of the "flashlight community" and everyone thought that he was joking but I don't think so. Ellen gave him a Beast as a gift. That was pretty cool of her, even if I am not a fan.
