Excuse my ignorance but can you give some more details on this? Is it meant to be hard wired into 12V systems like a car/boat/etc.? Is it water resistant? I take it, it's meant to be used like a spotlight? What's the U.S. price? Thanks.

I just made this for a friend who wants to light when he fishing. A best throw is possible with this 42mm lens. And the base is aluminum CNC. And we can put a Fatman Driver inside which can take 12V DC from vehicle.
The aluminum base I paid was 55$ including three pcs of glass.
42mm optic : 15$ x 3 =45$
Fatman : you can buy at taskled.com
O-ring will be water proof (no diving purpose, though)
