My L1 is on its way also. I too was wondering
about the rechargeable 123 also, and emailed
Jon at J.S. Burly's. He suggested the 4.2 volt
Li-Ion cell that he sells. It sounds like a
rechargeable Li-Ion and the L1 will work well
