Ellen DeGeneres Show flashlight

Someone at work yesterday was telling me he saw the Ellen DeGeneres Show the other day and she gave a guest a $3000 flashlight.

He thinks it was Mel Gibson but he's not sure. He said the actor was into flashlights big time, which is why Ellen gave him such a great gift.

The flashlight he (the guy at work) was describing sounded a lot like The Beast.

Anyone else see this show? I can't find anything on the web about it.

yeah...i think someone already made a post about this. It was some news anchor dude, and it was the beast...

NBC person as I recall - there was another thread about it.
The larger wquestion is - is he lurking/posting about under a secret identity? When is the Beast pass-around going to start?

I just tried to do a search for 'Ellen", and for the reply I'm just getting the Latest Threads list.

This search function sucks! Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
