NiMH in petzl headlamps

I'm looking at getting the petzl mylite 3 headlamp and was wondering if NiMH batteries will work in it with out blowing the xenon blub and over driving the led. Also will they work in an old petzl zoom without blowing the bulbs in them.

Rogue monkey,
I've used NiMH in both my MYO 5 and Tikka Plus with great results. There shouldn't be a problem with the mylite3. I don't know about the zoom.

NiMH have lower voltage than alkies, so you should be fine. I used these for years in my Petzl Zoom, and later in my Zora. I forget how much dimmer they were due to the lower voltage.
