1. better for the environment

2. cheaper in the long run

3. improving all the time

I don't like running most of my lights without them. Sure, the ones that I don't use often are loaded with one-time-use batteries. But the ones I use all the time (except for the SF A2) have rechargables. I don't consider a light complete without a rechargable solution.

Pretty sold on your C3 with Pilas, eh? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Yes!! Without Pilas I don't think the C3 would appeal, with the P91 especially. It's like a meter running down so fast...with Pilas I don't worry. I have a Pila in my L4 and one in my Aleph 2 and I have a Strion. When my L1 gets back from SF I will put a rechargable 123 in there.

I use NiMH in my every day walk-the-dog lights.

Agreed. Makes "playing" with lights more affordable and guilt-free /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

(happy his MC85 is running on rechargables!)
