Seeking great LED replacement for a 3C Mag lite

I have a 3C Maglite for everyday use which occasionally hits the floor.

I'd love to get my hands on a regulated 3c lux3, with a ha3 finish, and while I'm dreaming, make it waterproof, too.

Come to think of it, has there ever been a 3c with a ha finish?

Has anyone compared the Diamond 3W to the Xenon 3D Mag?
I keep seeing comparisons to the old KRP bulbs which
were vastly improved upon by the LMSA MAG Xenon bulbs
not just in brighness but beam quality as well.

I have 2 3D mags, one w/ a xenon bulb and the other a 3W Daimond, the xenon is brighter but the 3W is not far behind. But the idea is to get white light as opposed to the yellowish tint of the xenon (next to the LED). The Diamond's beam is pretty good.
