Dear CPF members,
So far, I can find only the HDS Systems EDC flashlight as having the longest (fully regulated/"flat" output) battery run time on 2 lumens (or a close equivalent low light level) of any flashlight available (i.e. approximately 40 hours at the 2 lumen/"secondary" level-according to HDS Systems testimony-by phone, which is remarkably better than any other flashlight I can find, even that of Surefires L1 which attains 40 approximate hours at only .3 lumens, advertized), and all other lights with similar long run times are either partial or unregulated in battery power consumption.
Do any of you know of another flashlight that provides this level of fully regulated light output (2-4 lumens preferably spot focused, along with high quality, water proof, shock proof, metal construction, pocket size) for around 40 hours in a single battery design?
