Why upgrade old L1 to new L1?

I've had my L1 for about 4 months now, really good little light.

Wondering if anyone, who has experience with both the old and the new, could give me an opinion on why I should or should not buy the newer version?

The new L1 throws more but has less sidespill than the old. Whether or not this is worth getting all depends on you. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
