Can somebody please help me turn down a IMS 17 ?

I've head of people taking them and sanding them down. Just get some sutible grain sandpaper, and put it on a flat table and sand away!

i have 3 or 5 that were modded by hand with sanding.. just making figure 8's on sandpaper.. to fit into the CNC123 lights.. fred from photonfanatic did it for me when i bought some lights and reflectors from him.. he sanded from both sides which made a nicer flood-y beam as well by slightly off-focusing the reflector.. it's a gorgeous beam that is nicer than original.
other than.. don't use your thumb to clean out the dust.. it's an easy mod.
