SOLD: Absoultly mint condition, modified 3D Black Maglite.
* Fraen Tri-Lens Optics (same as used in Elektrolumens Tri-Star-Phaser lights).
* .375" Thick Heat sink (1/4" + 1/8").
* Luxeon III bin SW0K x 3.
* Artic Alumina Epoxied HS & Lux's
* Set Screws. (head won't turn & break anything!)
* Beam is SUPER Smooth! No artifacts at all!
* Only used for less than 30mins! Probably only 10!

This works best with NiMH D cells for full power but Alks work just fine.

AA epoxied, and direct solder connections with multi-stranded wire for durability and reliable electrical contact. The head is set in place with 3 set screws, to prevent someone from turning the head and damaging the luxeons. If for some reason you wanted to open it up, unscrew the bezel, remove the optic, and 3 screws, then unscrew the head to get to the luxeons. Open at your own risk! The screws are really nice though as you don't have to worry about someone else picking up your light and turning the head and breaking something. Plus the head is rock solid and has no wobble at all!! This is super durable!!!

SOLD: $100 Shipped in the US.
Shipping: P/Mail, un-insured. If you do want insurance, it will be extra (actual cost).

Post in this thread first, then if you want PM me.
Thanks!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink2.gif

Re: FS: Tri-LuxIII 3D Mag, w/Fraen Tri-Lens pricel

Stupid me, I stated runtime less than 30 mins. I didn't mean thats the runtime you get on batteries, but instead I've used the light for less than 30 mins. So it's really new. I wonder how many people saw that and said 30mins runtime sucks!

Anyways, I need the money and this is just sitting on my desk. It's very durable and built with great care and quality. It needs a good home!

BUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isaac,
you said this light just sat around on your desk. Most of my lights just sit around somewhere BUTTT, they are there if I need them. lol
Kinda like my long guns, handguns, and knives, but I'm cooool.
Does this fit anyone else out there in CPF land?

vhyper

btw, I would love to have your light but it would end up just sitting around!

VHyper, Actually, most of my lights get used a lot. I'm selling the ones that don't as right now I need the money, and they aren't getting used. I use each one of my lights at least once a week. I used to not use flashlights a lot because they ate batteries so fast, and had terrible beams! Now I have nice LED/luxeon lights that are great! Even the red-orange and cyan luxIII mods get used about once a week, but it's not for any other purpose than to play ! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

nuttin' wrong wit' playin'.
Actually, it is I who sit around and gather dust. I have watched the flashlights when they didn't realize I was watching and they were having a good old time.

Re: FS: $100 New Tri-LuxIII 3D Maglite.

Sir, I'm very interested but I have a few questions:

1) What's the approximate run time on PowerEx Ds, 11,000mAH?

2) How many lumens? I assume around 200+

3) Finally, any beam shots?

Thanks. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: FS: $100 New Tri-LuxIII 3D Maglite.

1) Well, with NiMH this should pull right around 3amps. Probably a little less at first until the Vf of the LEDs drops a bit and settles after 100hrs or whatever it is. So, 11amp-hour / 3amps = ~3.6hrs! Pretty good!

2) Should be around 210-240 lumens when driven full power (3amp draw from batts). I've never did put fresh Alkalines or had any NiMH to drive it fully with, but my other tri-mod has the same Vf luxeons and on 3 NiMH C's it's bright!!

3) Beam shots will be just like an Elektrolumens Phazer lights. I've heard people talk of artifacts but I see none in this beam. It's like a TSP in a mag 3D body.

Anymore questions let me know! -Thanks! -IH
