Anyone care to list the things they're grateful for in life? I'll start...

My spouse, parents and the rest of the family
Bright sunny days and the hint of warmer weather on the way
Birds and animals
Modern medicine - wouldn't be here today without it.
Technology
This group of fine people
Coffee! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
...and other things that won't come to mind until my morning cup of the above... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Family, friends, technology. Those are the three things that I am most grateful for. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif (CPF counts as technology)

I am thankful that my niece is alive and recovering from a severe head injury after being thrown from van that slid into a tree. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif

Mostly being alive.Life has been a series of close calls, the most recent of which was a BAD accident with one of our quarter horses-the horse is ok ,I got 14 stiches and a pretty bad concussion-if the point of impact had been 1 inch to the left I would have lost an eye.

Having a job.
Having medical insurance; which pays out more per year than I earn.
That my mother is still in relatively good health at age 82, and can still live independantly, (with help from me).
My sweet little calico cat, who is always happy to see me.

Family, freedoms, almost unlimited opportunities, too many to list. Still, I am grateful for the Internet and places like this that allow me to talk with, listen to, and transact with people over the world. I am also grateful that the good folks far outnumber the bad.

I'm grateful for my life so that I may share it with and enjoy:

- The love of family and friends.
- The beautiful place I live.
- The opportunity to stay home and raise my son.
- and of course, CPF and wireless broadband.

Wow! Everything has been so eloquently said that I can only add: "Me too". Even though I didn't start drinking coffee until I was 35, I enjoyed the fragrance since early childhood.

And then there is the CPF.

I am very happy that I can say my family is great. I really love each member of my family with all of my heart, I don't know what I'd do without them. The same goes for my friends.

Breathing clean air, drinking clean water, and having (more than) enough to eat.

For being hungry for things once in a while, so I can appreciate them when I have them.

Being there for the lives, and even for the deaths, of family and others I am close to. BTW, that other part's experiencing life, too.

Freedom, and for the responsibilities that come with it.

The things I love and the things I hate.

All of these things because they keep giving me a frame of reference and balance.

I am thankful for:
Jesus Christ who suffered and died on the cross for our sins.

My family and their health.

My freedom and those who fought and bled and died and sacraficed so that we can keep that freedom.

My health

My friends

A roof over my head and food on my plate.

The teachers I had in school who loved me like they would their own child and taught for the love of teaching not because of a retirement plan.

The good samaritans of the world who help others in times of need.
