Hi everyone here,

I am new. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I don't like to beat around the bush and I want to be frank and candid; I am here not just for the flashlight knowledge and hobby, but also like to sell my wares at the BST forums. And no, my wares are not flashlights but mainly misc gears. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Its just something I hope to do in my free time to meet odds and ends, and I hope I can contribute in a way or two to this forum.

Cheers!

Firstflight, I moved your posts to the Dealer's Corner forum. It's apparent that your business is more than simple personal sale of your own personal items. The Dealer's Corner is the proper forum for commercial business.

Please read our advertising statement.

I'd also encourage you to combine similar items and models into the same thread, rather than starting new threads for each similar model or color. There is a very fine line sometimes in determining what is spam, and what is legitimate use of our resources. Please keep that in mind as you continue with your activity. If it starts looking too much like spam, we're not a very tolerant group.

Any additional ads of a non-personal nature placed in our B/S/T forums will likely be regarded as spam. I'm sending this to you by PM also, in order to help insure that you see it.

This is obviously spam, and a waste of CPF's resources.

Nice knowing you. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink2.gif

LOCO is more like it.
And I feel the need to pipe up here as well....

Bumping your own post just 12 hours after posting is not looked on kindly. Once per day is *plenty*. We'd love to have you as a member here, but the bottom line is that we're a flashlight group. What makes this all work so well is if we all at least try to give as much as we take.

Thanks for reading the rules. Stick around and talk about your flashlight hobby!

Hi all,

First of all, I am very sorry. It is my fault, I did not read the rules properly, and I have to apologies to all and the CPF management. :0

I listed my wares separately out of habit, because I was posting my wares for sale at the watch forums, and at the watch forums, they limit sellers to 3 watches per day and also if the watches are of different model, it counts as a separate watch. So most people post one message per watch per 24hrs. I didn;t meant to spam.

Again, I have to apologise.

Althought I said I am a new boy here, but not exactly too; coz I know a bit about CPF, but as a hobbyist rather than as a seller (which is why I do not know about the selling rules here)

Sometime back my flasholic hobby had to come to a brake. I simply did not use all the nice lights I bought enough to justify owning them. I owned Longbow Micras, Nuwai Q3, Surefire incandescents and Luxeons.

I still love flashlights but these lights are what I have now, and I do not intend to add more to the range at the moment. Maybe in future when something attractive comes out. I am intrigued by the LEDs, especially those custom ones... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I hope my 4 current sales post in the dealer's corner is ok?

Thanx a lot.

I don't know the CPF rules for dealers, but IMHO items offered on CPF should be flashlight related, besides private sales in the non-lights section of B/S/T. It's a flashlight forum! When cklicking on "latest threads" I don't wanna see sales ads for watches, cars, knives, life insurances, Viagra... you get the picture.

This is nothing personal firstflight, it's just that CPF is much more than just another way of selling for most of its members.

No problem Mark2, I understand your point. This is precisely why I initially posted my 4 sales thread on BST Non-lights, until the threads got moved to dealer's corner.

To be frank, I am just a small time seller. I do not own a shop, I don't have a webstore, and I don't even have a website. I am selling in my free time.

Also, I am a straightforward person, and to be candid, I posted in BST Non-lights partly because I saw others doing the same. I am not the only person selling watches here on CPF, there are others whom had been doing so repeatingly for weeks with no problems, but I wonder whats wrong with me doing likewise? Perhaps my CPF handle, my email (firstflightgear), along with my photos and long sales text made me sounds like a professional watch dealer. I wish am, but I am not. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I do not really know if I qualify as a "dealer" but I respect the CPF management's decision on where my threads should be.
