In looking over some flashlight and related websites,
I was curious what PC screen size folks are mostly using -

Anyway, was wondering what folks are using,
and do they run full-screen browser, or reduced ?
Here's my grouping -

Dell desktop - 800x600
Dell laptop - 1024 x 768
Toshiba laptop - 800x600
IBM thinkpad - 1024x768

I've got a few computers and it depends where I'm reading CPF from, but all the computers are 1024x768 including the laptop. I run my browser full screen.

Some days it's 2x1024x768 because I have dual monitors... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

CPF's 'pic posting' guidelines stipulate that they should be less than 800 pixels wide, I think this takes into account a 1024x768 screen.

I used to run dual monitors. Because of my cheap monitors and lack of a compelling app for dual-display, I stopped using it. It also hurt my eyes to look at it for long.

I typically run my displays at 1152 x 864 x 24bit x 75-85Hz because that's the best res that looks good on my primary monitor. Rarely do I run browsers fullscreen - I save that for apps really requring all that real estate like graphics and CAD.

I run 800x600 both on my desktop and laptop.

I used to run my desktop at 1,152x864, but I recently misplaced my eyeglasses, so I run at the lowest setting my system allows so I can read the text.

I run 1280x1024 which is native on my new 17" LCD. Love being able to fit so much more on the screen then 1024x768. Would prefer even higher resolution, but then you're paying big money for a tft.

Home Desktop: 1280x1024 on a 21" monitor
Work Laptop: 1280x800 on a Dell with 12" widescreen
said laptop also hooks up to a 20" widescreen LCD running at 1650x1200 or something obscene.
