There are 10 of these for sale, anywhere in the world, for $28 plus shipping ($8 within the USA). It has regulation, three levels of output, and a convenient switch right at the head, like the Pelican Stealth! If I were in the market for a bright, regulated Luxeon 4AA, this would be highly appealing:

I wrote to the seller (wfortune), who confirmed that the light can safely use lithiums.

From the photos, it somewhat resembles a yellow UK.

Here's the text, for those of you reading the archives:
Just Released:
Best Quality and newly designed Xtreme Diving Flashlight (100' water resistance) with 1W Luxeon LED (equivalent to 30 ultra-bright LEDs or 12 Japanese Nichia LEDs in brightness) from Silicon Valley (San Jose, California). The single LED is also easy to foucs the beam and give an almost perfect white beam. It uses the cheap and common AA size batteries (can use rechargeable to save more money). Most other Luxeon flashlights use only the expensive CR123 Lithium batteries. As you know the CR123 is a camera battery. Each battery sells for around $6. People would not use an expensive battery flashlight as freely as this one.

We are the only factory direct distributor for this flashlight. Please contact us for ordering in bulk for resale.

One of Best American Technology

Elegant in design, this is the brightest portable scuba diving flashlight in the world. It comes with well focused and energy efficient 1W Luxeon LED. It is brighter than most flashlights of the same size (even brighter than Xenon). It is great for both land and underwater use.

Light: 1W Luxeon (30 Lumens, 30 LEDs or about 1.5 large 3D cells police Mag-lite equivalent) from LumiLEDs Lighting in San Jose (Silicon Valley), California, USA. http://www.lumileds.com/

Warning: There are some non-Luxeon made counterfeit 1W LED on the market. They are half as bright at best and have a bluish color beam. Their light will greatly reduced after just few hours of use. They are much cheaper (some under $10 for 1W) but they are definitely not the quality of Luxeon. A 1 W Luxeon LED part alone costs $8. It is impossible to sell a 1W Luxeon for just $10. They are usually shipped out from Hong Kong. I had bought a few of them to test them out. They are also sujected to patent infringement problem.
*
100 feet (30 meters) water resistance with good O-ring seal. It is tested to 115'. Most scuba divers won't go below 100' especially at dark. Those flashlights can go beyond 00' are very bulky and not practicle for land use.
*
Very practicle for land use - you can use it for camping, car, and home for high quality illumination.
*
Battery: Uses cheap 4 x AA size alkaline batteries (included Duracell Alkaline) or rechargeable batteries. You won't worry about wasting money on expensive batteries when you are using this flashlight. For frequent user, you can get a few sets of rechargable NiMH batteries and save even more.
*
3 levels dimmer from 100%, 50%, 25%, and flashing
*
Magnetic reed rocker switch never turn on by water pressure
*
High quality solid state DC-DC regulated circuit (other are DC-AC-DC non-regulated) maintain maximum light output throughout entire battery life. It will stay at the 100% brightness for all 8 hours. Other cheap un-regulated Luxeon flashlights will start dimming after just 30 minutes of use. After the first 8 hrs at 100%, it won't light up at 100% anymore. You can step down to 50% for another 2 hours of light and then 25% for another 3 hours before the batteries are totally dead.
*
Even at 25% level, it is still brighter than many flashlights.
*
Flashing mode (hold down switch for 3 seconds) is great for road emergency or warning signal
* Battery Life - 8 hrs (100%), 16 hrs (50%), 32 hrs (25%), 16 hours at flashing
*
Accessory: O-ring grease
*
Up to 100,000 hours LED life
*
Very well focued beam (you get a 2' circle of even illumination at about 10' underwater). It is designed to focus under water because water has a different refractive index (1.33) than air. It shoots a slightly wider but semi-focused beam above water.
*
Manufactured in ISO 9000 certified factory with latest machines and Surface Mount Technology robotic equipments.
*
Ultra high quality finish with rubber grip
*
Patented design with patented US Made Luxeon LED, it is not a cheap copycat version.

Re: 1W Luxeon regulated DiveLight 3 bright. levels

93 views, no responses--c'mon guys, doesn't anyone have a comment on this light? With 3 levels of brightness and a more convenient switch, it seems to give the Streamlight Propolymer a run for its money.

It actually looks like a Princeton Tec, but I can't find such a light on the Princeton Tec website.

Re: 1W Luxeon regulated DiveLight 3 bright. levels

i think that is a nuwai light. there was a nuwai "clone" from the streamlight ProPoly 7 LED from Nuwai, or maybe Nuwai made the 7 LED for Streamlight.

And this light should be a advanced clone of the streamlight propoly 1 Watt Luxeon.

the quality should be on the same level as the streamlight propoly lights.

Re: 1W Luxeon regulated DiveLight 3 bright. levels

If those runtimes are correct then the light is much closer to the UK 4AA eLED for brightness than the Streamlight. Also remember that the Streamlight is an absolutely light cannon for being a LuxI, its got a very impressive throw to it.
