Suggestion needed for Dialup ISP

I've been very happy with my ISP since it only cost $5.95 per month and I have very good speed and access BUT now they notified me that they are going out of business and transferring my account to Earthlink (No way!).

Anybody have a good, cheap ISP that they are happy with?

You typically get what you pay for. I would shop around based on what needs you have for an ISP. Some of the cheap ones you have to PAY for technical support when you need it and if you perhaps use accelerator software (proxy) that is extra. Also email scanning for viruses/spam is usually extra also. I pay $14.95 a month and have been with several ISPs as the bargain ISPs ended up vanishing due to being unable to budget properly when costs rise unexpectedly it can be a hassle at times. The last ISP I had just died and vanished taking money with them for dues paid in advance up to a year.

You can piggyback off your friend's dsl if he is willing to share his user/pw.

I use Hypercon for $10 per month.

I've been with Lanset.net for many years including good tech and accelerator for $10/mo.
