Anyone know of a review for the forementioned flashlight? At flashlightreviews.com they have the Fliklite which uses 4 LEDs and 3 N-cells. The LS:3 uses 2 DL-123A (CR123A) with a Luxeon Star. As the original Fliklite is a direct drive, I was wondering if the LS:3 was the same of it it has a boost (DC-DC converter) or voltage regulation circuits.

Thanks,

As far as I know, the LS:3 is a direct-drive light. There's a review for the Dive version in the Reviews forum. I's suggest looking there for details.

My LS:1 is definitely a direct-drive unit, and I don't know of any major changes made to the Fliks since that was released.
