I plan on making a custom light, i would need a power regulator:the bulb takes 3.6v 3 amp. my battery will be somewhere from 6 to 15 v,What regulator do i use? where do i get it? is it hard to make it myself? i'm planning to convert the 3mil cp to about 110-120 leds i will be using 13000mcd leds. .i've made a few lights before but none of them has voltage regulator.these are pic. of some of them. the meglight i didn't convert to led i bought a kit on ebay.the 48 led and 95 leds use old leds about 5000mcd.i drive them with 4,5v. testing tese in real world proved that they are exelent flood lights, and you see things much better with them, probably has something to do with color temp. even sfe2 seems dull after using them,at least to me.

Hmm. so you're going to wire them all in parallel and then run that to the battery through a buck regulator. Perhaps www.taskled.com would be of assistnace? I'm not to hip with buck circuits. Maybe do them in 3 banks? and use a downboy1000ma?
