It is bored out to take 4aa batteries in square formation.

Soon to be reanodized and dyed copper or teal, or may be hot pink.

It will house a 100 watt bulb and Carly smooth reflector.

Stock switch and a mosfet to handle the current with soft start.

Should be done sometime this year /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

If this is any indication of pieces and parts that might be available in the future then I'll reload the PayPal.

Nice work, Les.

No lines here. I plan on putting stuff in the BST area and my web site. That way if you see it and like it you can buy it with no waiting.

On the drawing board:
2D size 50 to 100 watt lamps
6D size 250 watt lamp
Thors penultimant hammer 250 watt lamp with NiMh batt pack
35 watt HID
X1 mod with cree leds and badboy boards
costco splash anodized

Les

PS: If you plan on buying high power lights from me buy your Triton charger now /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: Slowly getting my act together, grooved maglig

Ewwww, prices. I don't know, lets see how much I have in one.

$20 mag body
$7 reflector
$7 socket
$6 lens
$5 mosfet and stuff
$4 charging connector
$45 battery pack (24 volt)
$8 lamp

$102 total in parts
$100 or more in labor (covers: time, tooling, solder, anodizing chemicals, website, misc, and profit)

So, $200 to $250 ballpark. Plus you are gonna need a Triton charger ($135). I will include a custom charging cable, and for an extra $10 the temp probe can be built into the batt pack. It is clear you will need to but at least a pair of lights to justify the cost of the charger /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/poke2.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif

Que up lads.

Wow, okay now that is smart. Never mind the innards, sure you could make a business out of just doing that work on Mag bodies, let everyone else decide what they want to put in them.

Nice work! (Was going to say "Groovy!" but GreenLED beat me to it.
