Cree blue mod, a work in progress

This would be it. I bought the light from a catalog and over paid $35 if I remember. So I dropped the Cree blue chip in it and used the driver from Elektro Lumens web page
These would be the shots. No beam shot and I'm not overly jazzed by the output, but I'm running it on two older 123 Lithiums for now and waiting on Li-ions to see what they do. The blue is really cool.

2 lithiums and a boost circuit? That thing is proabably way overdriven! try 1 lithium and the circuit! or 2 lithiums and a resistor!

It isn't that bright. Wouldn't that reduce the output even more. If my reply or original post imply a complete lack of electronics knowledge, that would be close, but I am a quick study. Feel free to advise.

It might be over-driven and over-heating and thus dropping in brightness. It should be pretty bright. Measure what current it is receiving to be sure...
