I sure am interested in this light. Does it make full power on a PILA? Run times?

Depends on the forward voltage of the LED. A low Vf (J) may run full power depending on the efficiency of the converter. Haven't studied the converter in the Gladius yet but if it uses a synchronous type switcher, a J voltage bin Lux III should get decent runtime at full power. If you're bold, you can get yourself a TWOJ (or better) Lux III and modify the LED in the Gladius.

Carl - my gladius does make full power on a 168s for well over an hour.

Only downer is that it thinks the battery is low and gives the double flash every 15 seconds or so but I can live with that.

Maybe Night-Ops can modify the software so a user will be able to turn off the low battery flashing ?
