SF L4 on 2x R123\'s?

Can anybody tell me please if it's safe to run the SF L4 on 2xR123's (protected)? Thanks. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Does anyone know the max Vin the L4 circuit can handle?
Same question about the KL1.

L4 can take 6V in.

KL1 can take 9V in.

L4 is just boost, so Vin has to be less than Vout

KL1 is buck boost (like wizard), with 2.4V <= Vin <= 9V
