Title says it all. Please post if you got 1 or a couple for sale. Would REALLY like the UWOJ stars but will consider any available. Do not want any that are too green or too blue in color.

Thanks.

I will have a handful of bare emitter UWOJ's soon.
Four actually. I plan to auction them off /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

4sevens, Thanks for posting. You are getting bare emitters, I would like the stars for the Lionheart and the soon to be released LionCub. Is it possible to take a bare emitter and put it back on a star?

Sure thats no problem. Also, a nickel is the identical diameter of
a star /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif They work great in Q3's

So you glue/epoxy the bare emitter to a nickel and then run the wires to the leads on the star and you have everything you need?

Interesting... Isn't the nickel a little thick to go into a Lionheart? wouldn't the height change the focus or mess with how the reflector sits?

Thanks.

A nickel isn't any thicker than a star, which is what that light uses normally? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif

I think Warren/eTendue sells bare star PCBs, or did at one point. Dab Arctic Silver onto the bottom of the LED, press, solder, done.
