wow, love the table top, hate the table legs /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif Hope those aren't part of the construction and can be replaced...

Ingo Maurer is one of my all time heroes, when you see low voltage lights suspended on 2 wires, that was orginally one of his designs.

The table top uses Indium Tin Oxide, ITO, film on the glass as a conductor, same stuff is front electrode on EL sheet.

I think I had an idea like that but everyone poop, pooped it. I saw an episode of wing nuts and saw how they used leds for accent lights in the edge of a table. I thought it would be cool to have color changing leds to make it any color in the legs and top and use fiber optics to make it glow that color.
