I have a SF L1 which I like. I like the lanyard that came with it. I don't like the clip on the lanyard that attaches the light to the lanyard. It isn't quick to release and it takes two hands to reconect. Is there a secure, easy and quick way to connect/disconect a light to a lanyard?
---I can't find one on the web but I'm thinking of the type of keychain that allows you to separate the ignition key from the rest of your keys. I have one, from Wal-Mart I think, you push a button and the two halves separate. A ball on both sides releases when you push the release

What you described above was my first thought. You could also attach a split ring to the flashlight and then attach a mini snap hook, bolt snap or carabiner to a lanyard. Something like these.
