Importance of friendship in India?

I got an email the other day from a guy with a gmail account claiming to be from India. ALthough he seems interested in help for setting up a cyber cafe for the blind in his area, he seems more concern about friendship than help with software and or other means to assist the blind on a computer on a budget.

Is that normal? I am just concern that this strange as it is from usualy emails maybe a scam.

I would say there is a 99.99% chance the email is a scam.

It's highly likely that there are organizations in his area who are equiipped to help him if his needs are legitimate. The fact that he's reaching out to strangers in other countries is HIGHLY suspicious.

Agreed. I sent him some more links and said I would be his friend, but I wouldnt do anything illegal. Nothing more came from him.
