TL-2 \"Close-out Special\"

Brightguy has the "old style" SL TL-2 LED on "close-out special" for $40. Seems like a good deal. Would appreciate any comments on the light, and especially, whether it will take rehargeable CR123s (and, if so, which set-up you recommend).

Thanks.

It's an EXCELLENT and quality built light for the money (even at regular price!). I don't know about the rechargeables though...

Thanks for the info., gentlemen. Since I don't think this is a regulated light, I guess the output on a Pila 168S would be somewhat less?

One of the good points of the light is its size and shape. It is very compact, not much bigger than a single cell light such as the Nuwai QIII.

It has a relatively tight beam compared to some others.

It has good brightness but the new version is much brighter. One of my favorite lights is the Pelican M6 LED and it is much brighter than the TL-2.
