Some Photon Freedom questions ...

I used to have a Photon 3, last fall I ordered a Freedom for the new features and love it.

Now I see that the white Photon is 2X bright? Pretty impressive. Just ordered one.

Anything else notable about the new models other than the brighter LED?

What's the story w/ this 50% power mode? Has it been discussed here before?

I've never heard of the 50% power mode until your post. I just tried it on the freedoms I bought a year ago, and it works on all of them. Cool!
