Hi everybody,
I'm selling this mod (done by yours truly) to raise some funds.
Yes, you read correctly, I have modded my Arc4+ rev1 #683 by
swapping out it's "BRAINS" with a custom v2 Lionheart circuit
(slower ramping up and down).
This is a rare - one-of-a-kind unprecedented mod! I don't
think this has been done yet.
It puts out TWICE the output initially compared to my
HDS EDC Ultimate 60. It registers 1,850 lux at 1 meter!!
Of course it has all the Lionheart v2 dimming and
auto off features. It has level 1 toggle and also easy
access to button lockout. On the lowest setting it lasts for
like 4 days.
Here are some cousins posing:
It comes with UCL lens installed and also the stock lens and
a nano r123 charger and two cells. It also comes with the
clip that was never used. The emitter is a TWOJ rebinned out
of 8 with the highest output. (23% more than the lowest TWOJs)
It's close to the U bin range.
On the outside, it looks just like an arc4+, but you see all the
difference when you turn it on /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif It runs warm, but if you keep
it in your hand things are fine.
Worried about not being about to use cr123 primaries?
Well, actually it does work with primaries. From a slightly
used duracel ultra, it puts out 505 lux at 1m!!
Thats MORE than the original arc4+ put out anyway! Not to shabby!
I measured 94ma. With a typical 1400mah primary, it should
last a good 20 hours!
Lots of time and energy was put into unpotting the arc4+ to
getting everything just right.
$350 shipped anywhere. (final price drop)
