Best 2x AA led flashlight for.....

This has probably been asked several times but..

What do you guys consider to be the best 2x AA led flashlight for runtime, brightness, construction quality?
Cost is not a concern. Dimming options would be cool but not necessary.

I think the ARC LS with 2AA tailcap is the "best" 2AA light, but these are only available on B/S/T or ebay now.

The LongBow is probably the way to go now.

If you can want a mod in a MiniMag, then a Sandwich would be the way to go. If you go this route, the MadMax Lite is a good compromise of brightness and runtime.

The Streamlight Junior Luxeon is a good light, but runtime isn't all that great. I think it runs for about 1 hour on 2 alkaline batteries and about 2 hours on 2 NiMH rechargeables.

Hoghead covered most of it. For a little dimmer output but much longer runtimes, you may also want to check out the Gerber Trio.

The regulated $100 HelioTek HTE-1, Revision 2, is built like a tank and can go about 7 hours at full brightness, which is very bright:
