g2 burn out

Ok I've had my g2 nitrolin for a couple of days and I've been amazed by it. Tonight I was playing with it and flashing it on and off for less than a minute. I guess that was stupid of me. Than I try to turn it on 10 seconds later and nothing happens. I tried new batterys but it didnt work. So did my lamp burn out with the original batterys and less than an hour of use. I know lamps burn out but geez. I guess its partly my fault for flashing it. I know surefires warranty doesnt cover lamps but is there anything i can do. How much less bright is the led drop in? How much more bright is the p61?

Call surefire, they will likely ship you a new lamp for free.
