Would you tell me what is the bi-pin switch? Is this the switch assembly from the magcharger?

Thanks for your time.

Re: WTS 700 LUMENS 1166 1D MAG + extra Lamps n Batts

I've also been wondering why it's being called a bi-pin "switch", because I think it's the same switch, but only the bi-pin socket from the magcharger has been put in. Am I wrong, anybody? I also wonder where to get the magcharger bi-pin sockets from.

So, trying to give a bit of an answer (and trying to get some, too): I DO know it's from a magcharger, but I don't know if it's the whole switch, or just the bi-pin socket.

It is just the bi-pin slug/socket from the Mag-Charger.

Its just a Switch that can accept a Bin-Pin light bulb.

And one for thing.

The Mag can work with the batts with just one click.. do not require double click in order to on the light...

What is the runtime on this baby? How long does it stay bright. Does it stay bright constantly or does it just shut off with the Li-ions can't supply more juice?

Sounds like a nice mod. I'm counting my pennies.

Sorry I do not know the ans to your questions
As I just tested them for 5mins only.

All the info can be found here.. web page

All I can say its very very bright.. I believe its very difficult to find another light that have the same brightness compared to this.

Reason for selling: Abit too big to carry around in my bag.

Re: WTS 700 LUMENS 1166 1D MAG + extra Lamps n Bat

Hi Laurence -

According to Fivemega, the creator to the Mag66-1D, it runs for about 40 minutes continuously before needing a recharge.

RE: li-ION batts: As the cells offered for sale are unprotected, it is the users responsibility to turn off the light when signs of dimming are evident to avoid damage to the batts. With protected cells, one could run it until the protection kicks in ... although I run mine until the light dims.

All in all, this is a very nice light and Morganch_oh is offering this at a reasonable price.
